Our Focus

Marc and Robin Pollack founded The Marro Foundation as a social impact fund to educate and advocate for arts, education and cultural organizations, particularly in the areas of food, attainable and affordable housing, homelessness, horticulture and conservation.

Gateway Center

Proceeds from The Marro Foundation go directly to the Gateway Center.

Gateway Center is a homeless service center designed to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring for individuals and families experiencing homeless. Utilizing effective, reliable, and relevant solutions paired with a collective impact model, Gateway Center serves as the primary starting point for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Atlanta.

Our Founder

Marc S. Pollack

I have been very busy for over four decades in the apartment investment business, but it is not where I started. I worked in social services while in high school, during and after college. In fact, I went on to get a master’s degree in special education as a school teacher before my career in real estate investing.

For the past few years, I have transitioned much of my activities to the non-profit world, with a particular emphasis on affordable housing and homelessness. For me, it has felt like a return to my roots, social services. So, I am happy to be doing my little bit to make the world a better place.

Let us get to work now; we can do it!
